While conducting an alumni discussion OCAMBAAA WhatsApp group on new careers for alumni, a need was felt to create a LinkedIn presence. LinkedIn Groups was strongly recommended by Sridhar Murthy Iriventi (Batch of 1987 1996) for career support and education.
A few marketers from OU Campus MBA came together to create posts on OCAMBAAA groups which was well received by the Alumni. Not only was there good number of visitors and likes but also 80 members requested to join within 2 days. We thank Balakrishna Satyam (Batch of 1987) for the content along with another alumni who wants to remain anonymous. Dr. Anil Ramesh (Batch of 1987) contributed to one of the first few posts with tribute to his teachers.
Many alumni got connected to each other and the LinkedIn profile provided summary introduction. Awareness of fellow alumni career direction is facilitated in single location through the OCAMBAAA LinkedIn Group.
This initiative was coordinated by Prabodh Dubaka (1995 batch) who is also Jt. Secretary of OCAMBAAA. A sincere thank to all the alumni who supported this initiative, especially those who contributed to its execution.
